Coach Zuzana

“Sometimes we're tested not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths.”

Inky Johnson

I was fortunate to be born into a volleyball-loving family. I thought that fact alone was great, until I realized that every team I ever played on or coached was going to become a part of my family as well. I started off as a middle school coach in Oxford, MS, while finishing my Bachelor’s Degree at OleMiss. After moving back to New England, I coached at Nashua High School for four years. As a Head Coach for the Hardrock Junior Olympic Volleyball Club, I enjoyed coaching teams in the U15 and U17 division. After working with several student-athletes on their volleyball recruitment portfolios, I established a Women’s Varsity Volleyball team at Bunker Hill Community College outside of Boston, MA.

I am a busy mom of five incredible kids who inherited my passion for volleyball. My children and my husband are always up for taking a few hits at the ball or just passing the ball in the yard. When I’m not playing with my kiddos, I enjoy being a PE coach at South Park Elementary School in Memphis.

The top three priorities in my life are:

1. Family
